I was planning that he raise his arms in a "Praise the Sun" motion and is lifted up with an aura of multi-hit Solar glory. It would keep him grounded if done on the ground not unlike link's Up special from smash.
(still taking other ideas)
The aerial version is implemented, albeit, without any sprites. Physics, damage and knock back seem good to me. Having trouble making the attack change depending on groundedness.
Show me other workshop characters implementing this effect so I can steal their code use them as reference.
Will make sprites eventually.
I could incorporate a command counter like the fire emblem characters from ssbu. I guess I could apply that effect to the parry. That seems honestly quite doable. It would just take some more code shenanigans and extra spriting (which is already taking a long time (-_-`)
Making the counter only work against melee attacks and not projectiles might be quite tricky.
I'll see what I can do
brainstorming for uair and dair possibilities
a heads up: trying not to have the basic downward drop type dair
