Explanation of the pedestals' symbols
For people who are having trouble matching the symbols on the pedestals with the appropriate wand attribute, from left to right the pedestals are:

Spells per Cast
Mana Charge Speed
Recharge Time
The central pillar where you put the want you want to modify
Cast Delay
Mana Max
Shuffle

There are currently no pedestals for Spread or Capacity, so take that into account when selecting wands.

I just edited a few wands and i know at least the recharge time, cast delay, and mana max pedestals are in the same position on the altar
