Bug? Placing wands does not work
According to https://modworkshop.net/mod/26406 you just need to drop a wand from your inventory to place it on a pedastal. Whenever I try it just drops normally, ignoring the pedastals.

I'm running Build Oct 22 2020 - 23:18:04, purchased on GOG. Excpet this mod, no other mods were enabled and I started a new game to make sure everything is loaded correctly. If you need more info, please tell me.

what happens if you try to use the mod in noita_dev.exe? it should probably display an error in the logs, assuming the mod is attempted to be loaded.

I launched the game with moita_dev.exe and displayed some kind of "can't find file *.lua" issue. In you init.lua there's a line that loads the temple_altar_left.lua file from an absolute path - which wan't identical to mine.

Because I am using gog I had to intstall the mod by myself and I didn't knew that the filename was importent, so I left it just like the downloded file. Turns out this was the issue, rename the mod's folder to "wand_workshop" and it works as intended.

Thanks for your help, everything is working fine now :)

Same issue, I just use the workshop on Steam and haven't had any issues till now. When placing a wand on the center pillar it lights up but won't snap to the hover animation. It just sits on the pedestal where I tossed it, and the pillar lights up. Everytime after I pick it up there is no effect. I can place wands on any of the stat pillars just not the actual center pillar where the desired wand goes...

Maybe I am having a similar issue with the targeted folder being named different or something. Let me take a look.

This is not identical to my issue, the pedastals in my game did not show any reaction to the wand, not even lighting up. If it lights up for you, this means at least _some_ mod code is executed.

If you have multiple mods installed, try disabeling all but this, just to rule out any conflicts.

some wands do not posess the hovering animation, in which case the mod can't use it.
wands generated by an otherwise vanilla game should have it [except for the starter wands].
but this should result in an error message when run in noita_dev.exe
