Bug Reports
Known issues:

- Cleaning paint off vanilla or s+ vacuum compartments can cause the top port hole to appear open. This is a visual bug, apparently within Ark itself. It happens even if cleaning the paint with regular soap. The port is not actually open.

- Remote Tool - Using the Close, Open In, or Open Out options on CKF: Sci Fi sliding doors and gates will not work. Toggle option will work.

i can only get this to show up in my single player game and for some reason it won't load up with the other mods on the private server i run. any idea why? ive tested it out in multiple maps in my single player as well as update the server multiple times. for some reason the server when booting up isn't recognizing the mod ID number no matter what order i put it in, how many times i copy files over to the server - no matter what i do.

Sorry ezabet, only just saw your message. When you say it won't load, does the server still start? Do you mean that the engrams don't show up? Is it just one server or several? Who do you use for a host, or do you self-host?

Do you happen to use Ark Server Manager?
ezabet 6 Mar, 2020 @ 5:18pm
we do not, we update everything manually on a separate computer we run in the same room.

I see. Well, try deleting the mod folder on the server, and make sure you also delete the .mod file that should be found in the same folder. Then try installing a fresh copy, either from Steam or from your client since we know it works for you in singleplayer.

im in the process of that right now, again. i not only deleted all folders and files i again unsubscribed and resubscribed from both my personal computer and the server computer. it was working fine in single player and i was going line by line in the BAT files to start the server up and for some reason it just doesn't recognize or load in the mod ID number. its bizarre. hopefully this will work this time though!

So, does the server start or does it give some sort of error concerning the mod number?
ezabet 6 Mar, 2020 @ 6:09pm
im in the process of it booting up the server right now; but after multiple tries at changing mod list order, uninstalling, reinstalling etc yesterday and booting up the server multiple times (different maps too not just one) and trying it on various maps in single player for some reason the mod ID number was never queried on the boot up. i have no idea why. i'll let you know after this boot up though. i saw there was an update earlier before i started this evening. fingers crossed this is fixed as i have deleted and reinstalled every single mod for the server as well this time to make sure i cover anything and everything.

but yes, the server (and again multiple maps) have been starting up just fine and running smoothly. the mod ID is still in the list and all mods but yours are being called and loading in. for some reason it just doesn't show up. i dont really know why but it should work. (it is working in single player)

Only other suggestion I can offer is to try adding your mod IDs to your GameUserSettings.ini file instead of the bat file.

They would go under the main [ServerSettings] header, like so:
ActiveMods=731604991,1814953878,741203089,etc

I've only ever run servers using Ark Server Manager, so my experience of doing it with bat files or a hosting service is zero.

I don't know if you've ever looked into that program but its been a great tool for easily managing all server settings. It is up to date for Genesis settings too.

Sorry I can't be of more help. If you do figure it out though, please post your solution here for others who may come across your issue.

I'll see if that works. the mod is running fine on my single player game - i just tested it again but it wasn't calling it on the server. i'll try that solution - there was an ark update so i'm updating game version and everything then i'll boot up server again. i want it to work, so maybe one day it will work if this doesn't work this time. i really just have no idea. my partner is a software engineer so this works best for him right now as he started the process and i'm brushing up on my past coding experience to maintain so he isn't going at it alone. if i do find a solution; i'll absolutely post so it can help anyone else. no idea though what to do past adding that line in the game user settings.

thank you for your help! i love the mod when i can use it ! :D

i wanted to report back - that did not fix the issue. one day though, i'll get it working and let you know. (when we run the server start up BAT file it calls and loads in each mod. for some reason your mod isnt' loading in at that point and is not communicating even though it is listed in the bat file to load it.) i dont know why. one day...one day.

WELL. i got this working. i had updated the code properly in command line; only it was the wrong file. so it was done right but the bat was calling for a different file. all sorted now and i'm excited to be able to use this now!!!
