Zweihander Class Capital Ship : Bigger than even the lofty Claymore-class the Zweihander would be the Claymore class, but fitted with as much weaponry as a ship of that size can manage, as well as potentially having turrets capable of mining/pulse lasers for that purpose.
Aesthetically it would have a long body, with a single wide section at about 3/4ths of the way down the main body representing the distinctive handle the swords had. I'm not sure if this is super
In the thematic of the CV series I think it will fit as a Dreadnought / Flagship Class, and will act as both a battleship (having it's firepower) and a carrier (it's carrying capacity), and probably if my corvette idea works able to carry a few of those as well, and probably be the first ship where I would have to use an advanced core.
I'm going to add that to the list, however small disclaimer don't expect it to be made anytime soon :P, like the battleship it is dependant on if they remove weapon limits, plus ships of this size can be very time consuming and are prone to burning me out, so this one will be a long term idea!
thanks again for the great suggestion!
Regarding this theme, me and my friends we only use phoenix ships.
Personal opinion, the Claymore should be considered a bship/Flagship. it is,actually, a moving base/fortress. So i would keep that as the main one ( we picked clean the asteroids on our entire starting solar system from sathium for that thing).
That said, a carrier version, optimizing hangar size and, on the RP side of things, having a quick launch system (just like a real carrier), would probably be my, suggestion. Something like having the carrier as main vessel, protected by a broadsword, or maybe two of the frigates (i know, not practical for single player, but for a group of friends).
Ramp up the server dificulty, more enemies, harder enemies, and we have a good setup :)
The HV idea, maybe those chassis are just too big? We do love having all the different designs and utility,We took the Polaxe to dismantle a base we prevously took down with the battleaxe, and it was a blast watching the base simply vanish from the world.
We cant think of anything not already covered by your set of hvs.
Regarding SVs, maybe improve the mining rig, its a bit clunky the way it fits into the SV, tho i do see that size and simplicity being an issue, just takes too long to line up the two things (but thats a EGS thing, not your design).
Let me see what the other guys have to say.
Cheers
New update from my guys. Two ideas:
1- Since the big ships are really big ( i would prolly think about making the claymore and the carrier space based), What about an SV (due to hangar size restrictions) able to carry the battleaxe class tanks into/from a planet surface? We been trying to design something like that, but for some reason, we cant connect to eachother creative sessions.
2- Those Auger containers are a great idea, what about making something like that, fully commited to only carry a set of tanks into/from planets? Maybe fully integrated (unnoticable until undocking) into the hull of the claymore, or something that big?
Just throwing some ideas.
Cheers

Have you seen my new Carrier CV?
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2149604280
It is only designed to fit one way, perhaps an arrow on the top pointing the front would help? but i could also maybe reduce the tower portions with which might help with fitting it, ill add this to my list other thread on improving existing designs
I have been playing around making another variant of the Falchion/Scimitar that can transport those vehicles but been having a bit of trouble trying to make one that isn't too high, but yes a design like this is on the cards, i just forgot to put it in the list
Something else I forgot to add to the list was that I plan to do a set of freighter style CVs designed to carry the containers, similar in design to the Sledgehammer-Class
Yes I have plans for space stations (I didn't put all those docking ports on the CV's for no reason :P) so the first station I plan to make is a full T4 sized Repair and Resupply Outpost station, and depending on how well I can make a space station I will eventually make a massive station that will utilise the new advanced core, that would be the main HQ for an entire faction (but this idea will be along way off)
honestly i wish i knew how to build in this style or well build at all, then i would try to help more then just suggest stuff.
but ill be throwing any remotely useful ideas for ships here when i think of them.
the Backsword-Class is already at a space premium to fit some sort of hanger bay in it, and the Broadsword-Class can also act as a light carrier as it has enough room to fit at least Cutlass-Class sized ships
A smaller warp capable ship is not a bad idea!, I might play around with seeing if making a small version of the Falchion-Class
