Compatibility with other mods (WIP)
Hello. In this thread I will create a comprehensive as possible list of compatibility with other mods based on community feedback.

If you use or are the author of a mod and wish to add it to this list, please contact any of the LiT developers or post below in this thread. Likewise, if you're aware that a listed mod has been updated and is no longer compatible, please let me know and I will update it.

If you wish to develop a compatibility patch between LiT and a mod you use, or for own mod, please inform me as well and I'll add it and maybe I could assist you with doubts.

Some details to take in deep consideration about compatibility between mods:
  • No guarantees. This list is almost exclusively based on community testing, not officially tested by the developers.

  • This is list is for both, compatibility patches and compatible mods. This means that this will include mods that at first may be compatible without compatibility patches, but might need a patch in future updates, or may not be fully compatible, with minor UI or GFX bugs.

  • Modders, be it LiT team or others, may update LiT and their own mods at will. This means that keeping a compatibility patch up-to-date is at the discretion of the creator.

Popular mods that the community reports to be compatible (or not):
Note: 'Partially compatible' means that the mod does load, and reportedly doesn't cause crashes, but will conflict with some of LiT content.

Do you mean all X Expanded mods? Some of them?

And are you saying they're compatible? Or that they're not?

on the mod description, when you said it is compatible/integrated already with Byzantine Resurgence and The Land of Gold, you meant we wont need their recomendation mods as Beyond Typus and Miscellaneus??

What I meant is that both mods are entirely integrated within LiT.

Byz Resurgence events, government reforms, ideas, exarches, missions are part of base LiT
All new provinces, formables, tags, ideas and missions of The Land of Gold are also part of base LiT

Works perfect for me using also the following mods:
- All of Mesogeios
- Better Provinces Terrain Pictures (maybe this one could be added, it gives a lot of flavor for important Cities).
- Armies of the Unit Collection
- The Great Exhibition

Could you specify which Mesogeios?
I ask because the main Mesogeios (greek, thai, mongol, turkish, persian, latin gfx) are already integrated in LiT

This thread is to report compatibilities/incompatibilities with other mods, not to ask for compatibility patches.

It appears that the following mods work fine with LiT:
Ad Lucem
Enhanced Borders v1.1
Better Pictures v1.3 (Not to be confused with Better Provinces Terrain Pictures)

The mod "Russian Missions" (Simply adds a slew of missions for Russia) unfortunately, does not work with LiT. I am wondering what causing the conflict, the mission list just doesn't appear.

Hi, I tried LiT with Subjects Expanded, it seems to work except with the colonial/charter regions, as you can't create dominions in the areas that were added by the mod.

Also, I noticed that New World Colony Names doesn't work with your mod, as in a game with France, most of the colonies I had were in native language.


Two months later edit : CN don't colonize outside of CN doesn't work either.
