How to fix sounds, models, animations, etc not replacing
Restart your game when you install it or uninstall it, this fixes the following
Models not appearing
Animations are the same as original hl2 weapons
Sounds are not replaced
Models are not replaced.
How do you restart your game?
Just simply quit and then run the game again.

try also verifying intergrity of the games files
