An interesting bug: Played through mansion a bit then closed Skyrim. When I came back to it, I noticed a Chaurus in the attic that was previously killed half floating and acting like it was still alive (moving head back and forth, clicking its mandibles audibly). I went around and noticed this happened to some of the drauger as well (eyes glowing, slight head movements, half floating). In each case, the game still recognized them as being dead bodies and could still search them as such. (*Correction: All previously killed enemies have "alive" look to them, only a small few half float).

Ok, this sounds strange.
So you played a bit, how long, only the upper Mansion?
And then you left it, continued Skyrim, and then you turned back to the Mansion?

And where are they floating alive, at the positions where you killed them, or in the Mainhall?

Just that i know how to test it.

In the dormitory, I can't enter in the corridor with the broken door.

Problem solved. Invisible spider's web.

They were floating in the positions where I had killed them. When I said "left Skyrim" I meant I closed the game. When I loaded the game again, I loaded a save where I was already in the mansion.

Confirmed: I just loaded my save today and went back to the "Tyrant" room and found the "Tyrant", a "Hunter", and a Draugur (all previously killed) were on the ground doing animations as if they were alive. (*Note: these 3 enemies were the last enemies killed before a save was done and I exited the game.) I made 3 screenshots that are on my profile and the Hunter one is the best to show the "floating dead".

Ok i took a look at the screenshots, thanks for them! I will test now if the same happens for me.

Its not happening for me, also in a lot of testing i never noticed a floating dead enemy.
There is one point that my Mansion makes different to the most other dungeons, it's never respawning. Maybe a respawn mod which changes the spawns of interior cells somehow is responsable for this.

Otherwise i realy have no idea what could causes such a bug. I made no script changes or anything for my mod, its all default stuff.

I posed this on the main forum accidentally, but I can't seem to use any of the Armor, Shield, and Sword Keys to open doors. When I find them and go to the appropriate door, it won't let me open the door. Am I missing anything?

The only idea i have: When you entered the Mansion, a bug appeared while loading and scripts are not working for you at the moment. Don't think this will fix with leaving and re-entering the Mansion cell, because when you pick up one of these Keys, a enable/disable script has to be executed, otherwise the doors will not change, which makes them possible to open. That script obvously was not executed.
(This is also the reason why you can't add the Keys with the console to open the doors)

I think you have to start from scratch, with a savegame before you entered the Mansion, in this case. Please let me know if it works if you are doing this.

Ok. Thsnk you. I really appreciate the quick response. :)

When I was down in the dormitory and the Lab, the respawns of the undead and the Red Hand people would just stand around and do nothing until you either attacked them or went up to them and pressed E. Not much of a bug, but I figured you should know.
The Hunters were fine; they'd spawn and attack straight away.

Thanks for mentioning it, this is indeed a bug, but i not realy have an idea what i could do against it.

Of course the most enemies have triggerzones which activates them, but sometimes (mostly when reloading a lot because of dying or because of frequently rejoining locations) these scripts/activators stop working.
They only way to get this back to work again, is to restart Skyrim then.
