I'm aware of these fps drops, I have the same drops but never saw anyone crashing for this.
The FPS issue is certainly due to the size of the map and the amount of open areas plus every struture in these.
Unfortunalty, I don't think there is much to do for fixing it, as i'm at the limit of the source engine I guess.
Maybe there is a solution but didn't find it, as I'm not very good at mapping.
The last map the server used, (gm_bigcity_improved_lite) unrendered entities behind world geometry, this helped greatly with fps. I was wondering if this map maybe had an issue with this sort of optimization, as fps lag persists even if the culprit laggy builds are hidden behind world geometry.
Thank you again for making this map, quality content like this takes time and this community could do with more creations like this.
fps started dropping when i was on the server with 10+ other people
really want to keep this map as my server's main map as it's got everything we want, but The Direction is quite a centre of activity so the FPS dropping to 10 is one hell of a problem
