I've been reworking the core systems of the district mod to allow being able to add new colors, or even player generated colors to roofs. This required the code to mostly be rewritten and changes on how the data is stored, which means that any changes you've made will be lost when the new version comes out. However, steam allows you to choose which version you want to download so those who don't want to lose their coloring progress, then you can simply choose the older version to use. I''m steadily making progress on the new system and plan to do more things with it before committing to a full release.

New System finished - Just polishing the code and checking to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Any tutorial tips? Want to play with assets and see if I could make anything happen

This is fantastic, because my core cities are always massive, and I always divide it in districts. Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you. Perhaps use a type of 'city wall' to divide areas into nameable districts. Like deep water separates islands.

Gonna wait till you've managed to make nameable districts before using this mod. Best of luck!

I think there needs to be a way to colour multiple houses with one action, would speed up alot of things.
