Suggestion: Bigger Creatures
I think it would be amazing, to have version of this for bigger creatures (Large 2x2, etc...) Exspecially the grid alignment might be problematic, but maybe you can change the origin of the model, to be in one of the 4 "fields", so it centers offset from the middle.

A new version is out now that introduces different sizes of bases as well as changing base size manually.

Ok so first:
Nice! Seems to work good. Distance is calculated properly/ etc...
But:
Grid Snapping is of course buggy, when you are not a 2n+1 size for the side of the base.
You might want to auto-disable grid snapping when they are rescaled for a non-compatible size?
No idea if you can move the "snap point"

i would propose to just set grid snapping to "Both" then place the creature on the corner between the grid squares for 2x2, 4x4 etc... and turn it off completely when dealing with Non-Square creatures like 2x1 but I can't force it off in script

also if i would change the snap point then the calculation wouldn't work anymore as it needs to be the center
