It adding real ambiance to the game now and I'll suggest adding those pics that show you the fringes of the Empire, a posting to Syria, a desert march to a lonely outpost, trade ships and retirement settlements on the tips of Africa. When the world was big and empty!
Anyway enough rambling keep it up.
It goes well with my Radious mod, as it reverts to the original home screen (it was jaw dropping, tbh) and your loading-screens.
Bootleg, I get what you're saying. It's just a case of trying to find the right kind of shots which are really evocative of classical empires, and that also fit the same type of style. I was hoping to get the balance right between the sweeping panoramics and the up close and personals! I think a few more of the former wouldn't hurt, if I can get them! :)
I haven't seen the Radious home screen yet! I'll have to check it out golan! If you ever want to get the normal screen back while using Radious then find this mod in your date folder (called Loading_Screens) and rename it with an "a_" at the start.
Not really, I like the original vanilla screen. It was one of the few things I always liked about R2. The info might be useful later on, though, so thanks.
