Pink and blue faeries gives a lot of exp, easy to find them and u are doing nothing to kill them if they are flying even when u are 1 lvl and just using short bow. They're just flying and do nothing.

And fleur de lys cost a lot and its fixed price so even if ur ego is low u can get rly a lot fresh water at start. So now u can up and get money by just killing fearies and gathering flowers without doing nothing. At least it should be nonfixed price.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Fleur de Lys is meant to be rarer than it currently is, so I'll tune that down. I might also nerf its value from 100 to 75 or 50.
The Pink Faeries are meant to be somewhat deadly with their ranged attack; if they aren't fighting back that might be a bug. I'll look into buffing their attack and maybe lowering their level so the player gets less XP.

I just passed some marshes and collect about at least 10 fleur de lys at start. It would be nice if their value depended on ego. And it seem to me that bittergrette costs too much regarding its drop rate and location. And one more thing. That problem about faeries also applies to blue. Actually faeries are nice and i like them but problem exactly with game mechanic of flying when they dont attack u on the ground.

Hey, i saw u reduced drop rate of Fleur de Lys but its still easier to take some of them than find 10 copper nuggets or sell some garbage for 100 fresh water when ur ego is 10 on start. Mod is awesome and some content i'd like to see in vanilla but in general it feels easier than vanilla due new stuff, at least early gameplay. I get more fresh water and i can get wichwood crown easier and earlier than miner's helmet. Moonperl also drops quite often that gives u even more fresh water. No, ofc in vanilla u can go to The Six Day Stilt and find some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ giant weep to get a lot of fresh water but its rather a flaw, bug and exploit. Anyway do whatever u want if u like ur mod this way. Many ppl maybe won't even notice a decrease in difficult maybe because they like easier gameplay. I just like when it harder.

Yes you are right, it is currently easier to find trade goods than in vanilla. I'm still fine tuning it so I appreciate your feedback because I'll keep tuning it until it feels just right.

To offset this, I will likely introduce many new dangerous critters that will greatly increase the difficulty of the game. Balancing it all is always a bit of a mess :gnumz_explosion:

Any way to toggle the music for the city you added? I love the mod but I find that particular song to be extremely immersion breaking, thanks.

I completely understand. It's a placeholder; sadly I am no musician, and I have yet to find someone capable and willing of making a 'Qud track'.

I suggest you try going into the mod file, then replace it with a music track of your own for the time being. Simply delete the old one and replace the file with something that has the exact same name. Or, turn music off in the Qud settings whilst in the city.

Good news! I've met and discussed with a musician who is more than I could've ever hoped for. The next patch will contain custom tracks for all parts of the city and beyond; no more immersion breaking. :Speech_Love:

Hi, :hello:

I didn't want to flood the comment section, so I came here with a suggestion for Phelicia! It's somewhat of a two-part suggestion for one piece of equipment (or mutation, I'm not sure) and one equipment slot dedicated to it: a 'Face' slot for her Fiery Gaze. :b2b:

I'm unsure of Phelicia's anatomy since she's also missing a few other humanoid slots such as both hands ('Worn on Hands' slot as well), both arms, and feet, but assuming she has the body of a typical Faerie, Phelicia would be able to wear a hat on her little head while her Fiery Gaze could occupy the 'Face' slot which would make it impossible for her to wear any sort of mask due to the heat from her eyes potentially melting the mask off of her face—that and she wouldn't be able to set anyone ablaze with something covering her face.

Sometimes the game choses a random worm/mollusk to be used on the cure for fungal infections, and Genesplice Worm gets chosen, whoever this said worm dont drop a corpse. Either try to remove the genesplice from the list as its too dangerous for early curing the fungal or make the corpse somewhat 50% drop rate.

I won't be updating this mod for a while now. The updates break it far too often, and v1.6.0 is only half baked. If I get into another Qud phase I'll see what I can do, otherwise I'll be waiting for Qud to come out of beta.

I wanted opinion on DV of Ectomorphs. I couldnt manage to hit them on lvl24 with full mastery in pistols, so maybe dropping it down a little to something more relevant to strong monsters would be better? They are multiple and their danger is understood, yet the inability to hit them at range is maybe something you would want to tweak.
