Information for Modders
If you'd like to learn how to add items that can be used by the roles in this mod, well you're in luck, because that's exactly what this post is for.

The Chef
For information about adding foods, I'll refer you to Humans+ for the documentation on that.
Apart from that mod, this adds the Cooking skill to all jobs. If you'd like the fabrication of your foods to require this, just use
cooking

The Botanist
With the botanist comes quite a few new features. First the way plants grow. The basic tag for a growable item is
seed
Seeds are created in the Seed Splicer which is a fabricator item with the id of
seedfab
The way my seeds work is they are fabricated from their "core" material using the Seed Splicer, and can be deconstructed into 2 of their material. This means in terms of pure resources you get one seed + one material for each seed you grow. It's up to you if you decide to use this formula in your mods.
The botanist also uses a new Botany skill. If you want your fabrications to use this skill the id for it is
botany
