Experience with AI controlled teammates
So, after running this thing since Fort Joy and now on the Coast for like around 10 hours i decided to share some thoughts for other players that would stumble upon this mod and if its worth it.

First to say it, the AI for companions is good enough, they can fight well enough and if your MC dies they can finish the fight with no problem (Unless they are facing too much).

So what i observed

- AI will use rez scrolls on dead comrades so even if you die, dont go make a tea yet since they can bring you back
- If you are undead, they will hit you with poison splash so they are fully aware that you are healed by it.
- AI is more defensive than player. It tends to start out with buffs and armours first rather than nuking. But it also follows the same logic as AI and will target the weakest enemy first and seems to be fully aware of its perks. So it will send 2H warriors to cleave a near death- target to get the executioner proc.
- It also likes to CC enemies, Aero/Hydro mage seems to always try to stun someone (And mostly the lowest magical armour target).
- It loves food and potions. I always stockpile them like crazy only to not use them but AI uses them at every ocassion to tip the battle. One funny thing is that my merc Knight (The lizard lady) likes to go invisible via chameleon perk so she can... chomp that whole kettle of honey in peace...
Fane (Who i am playing as) must be thinking WTF though i understand the logic behind this since food is 1 AP buff and % based healing.
- It seems to work better the more AI controlled teammates you have since they can pull combo's they can think of in miliseconds. So only Fane is controlled by me, rest is AI work.
- It seems to be fully aware of other allied AI and will heal, fortify them whenever it needs.
- It will use scrolls and grenades with reasonable sanity,
- Will take Human controlled character's actions in account, if you pull a decay on someone, all healers will go berserk with healing spells on that victim. If you knock someone to sleep, AI will NOT attack it and instead will focus on someone else and if nobody is in sight they will start buffing each other (or your character) or skip turn.
- Seems to be aware of your class and what you do. The honey devouring lizard seems to run towards Fane and use Enrage, this silences me but gives me 100% crits. But Rogues dont use magic so i am perfectly fine with it.
- Loves to waste source points, if i havent been playing with the bedroll restoring source then i would be way more angry at them constantly squandering it on blessings.
- If you give the teleportation gloves or tele spell, they will use it alot. To chuck people to hazards or barrels, to even booting them out of combat by throwing them off a cliff. Or by pulling high ground enemies towards the honey lizard or Fane so i can stab them. I have yet to see them teleporting me or Honey towards the enemy but both of us have a way to traverse terrain. She can either pheonix jump or grow wings and i can teleport behind the victim and stab them and the other two of my party are ranged casters anyway.
- Boss fights tend to go well enough even if i was abit skeptical at the begining that AI simply doesnt focus down (But it makes it up with brutal combo's and stunlocking)
- If it has AOE buffs, it will always try to hit all allies with it.

There is alot of "Seems to" because i am not sure if its just an accident/rare random thing it does rather than purposeful action. But i am quite satisfied with AI controlled comrades. Its quite... interesting 2 AI's fighting against each other while i am the wild card that changes everything.

Hi @Mrvecz and thank you for your time posting your experience regarding this mod.
I'm for one a very fan of games that puts me in a role of a single characters with AI helpers: It makes the game more immersive in my opinion.
I'm using Divinity Unleashed on Tac mode and was afraid of how the game would react to those changes, but by reading your experiences it finnaly game the the courage to try the mod out, which if important to me because i have a NASTY habit that i got from Skyrim that i don't feel confortable to instal or unistall mods mid game and need to always start a new save.

Kind regards
