Grimgor's 'Ardboyz - Perhaps formally add the playable Dwarf factions to the Long term list for factions needed to be destroyed, maybe add Clan Mors to the list as well.

No other suggestions to give for the other Greenskins at this time.

Broken Axe - Long Campaign should involve sacking or razing the settlements involved in his classic waaagh- https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Grom_the_Paunch

- Marienburg (Technically Grom's fleet was blown away to Yvresse before he could sack Marienburg but I'm sure it's been on his to-do list)

And possibly earning 500,000 gold from sacking or looting. Sitting on heaps of loot was his thing and it's very easy for grom to start getting 80k+ per major settlement sacked

I've been looking at the VCs of the GS posted on github and I must say that all short victory conditions of every GS lord except Skarsnik look too easy. The days of GS being trash are gone and "Occupy/loot/raze/sack at least 25 different settlements" objective is nothing for them nowadays. I think that should be upped to sth like 35 for SV at least.

I like Eeporgorg's suggestions for Grom, but IIRC Wolfy said that the game doesn't track razed/sacked settlements for victory conditions purposes. Earning 500,000 gold from sacking or looting would be a fun thing for LV, though. How about control over Yvresse province for SV? Destroy Yvresse objective is ok, but it can also technically happen by accident if Yvresse gets confederated by Eataine. This ensures that you actually have to do some work on Ulthuan.

I will also just leave a note here that I really don't like how similar Grimgor's and Wurrzag's objectives are, but I don't have any real suggestions for them yet, so I will get back to that later after doing some pondering.

I want to push GS, TK, LM and Skaven all together in the next and last update. I want to switch as fast as possible to VCO 2.0, as, apart from all the other good stuff, thing like "the game doesn't track razed/sacked settlements for victory conditions purposes" is going to be possible.

This is a great idea. I love this mod. Minor, faction-specific question: in the game lore (Total War's Warhammer lore--I don't know about the original lore) Wurrzag Da Great Green Prophet starts on friendly terms with Grimgor Ironhide, who gives him a giant to aid him in helping The Bloody Handz. So The Bloody Handz and Grimgor's 'Ardboyz start the game with a Nonaggression pact. But for the Bloody Handz, the short and long victory conditions both include exterminating the 'Ardboyz faction. I usually role play not attacking the 'Ardboyz as Wurrzag. Is it more lorefull to have them refrain from exterminating each other?

I see no problem with removing Grimgor from the list. BTW destroy faction objective can also be achieved by confederation. Conquest is not the only option.

Yeah. Actually I do not have any problem with removing it but the objective is "Conquer or assimilate", not "Destroy", which means confederation is also a valid option.

What about Grimgor focused on unifying the Greenskins and destroying the Dwarfs and Wurrzag more focused on TEB and/or TK, as a "obtaining magic knowledge adventure trip" in a similar way to Mannfred.

@Wolfy Yes, I like it. Nudge Wurrzag west and/or south, while Grimgor can be a bit more focused on Dwarfs (SV) and Empire (LV).

Let's talk specifics.

Wurrzag:

Occupy/raze/sack 35 settlements for SV. 50 or 60 for LV.

Destroy Strygos Empire (no Undead in the Badlands), Border Princes and Tilea (weak humies) for SV. For LV, also destroy Estalia, Sartosa, Skryre and Khemri.

Control Southern Badlands and Western Badlands. No Eastern Badlands for SV, but keep it for LV.

Control some places of magical power/importance:
Black Pyramid of Nagash, Black Tower of Arkhan, Skavenblight, Nagashizzar, Oak of Ages.

Maybe at least 2 for SV and at least 4 for LV. That way the player has some flexibility.

Get at least 1 Orc/Goblin Shaman to lvl 20 for SV. Have 3 at lvl 20 for LV.

Hi! I have been reworking all the Greenskins victory conditions but I have been facing some problems related to the custom victory conditions. It is the case of "Win in battle at least X faction leaders" and "Earn X from raiding, sacking or looting".

The problems are that, in the first case, once an army is defeat the game deletes the instance, so I am unable to check which lords have been defeated naturally, resulting in having to do a lot of roundabouts to get some non fiable data. I have worked together with other modders to solve it but we have found no way.

In the other case, the problem is that there is no method to variably update the objectives text ingame. This means that, if I want to have one text that says "Earn 50000 from raiding or sacking or looting (8732/50000)" I have to create the 50001 field texts manually which not only I am not going to do but it is just stupid. And, if that it is not there, it is frustrating to do not know if it is working or not. I have though of steps (10% or 25% jumps) but it is still a pita to update. So get your ♥♥♥♥ together and raid as a normal orc and wait for CA to create a better scripting tool.

In that case, these factions need a redo. The TODO thing represents the stuff that needs to be changed.

Well, if some triggers are problematic, they can be replaced.

For Grimgor, instead of beating faction leaders, nudge him north by giving loot or sack objectives for Karaz-a-Karak and Karak Kadrin for SV. For LV, also add Altdorf, Hellpit and Castle Drakenhof to the list, as well as control Red Eyed Mountain objective. Quite thematic and still proves that Grimgor is da best.

For Wurrzag and Grom, the trigger can be replaced by just raiding income. Sth like 15k/40k for SV/LV.
