Wintertooth - Suggest removing Karaz-a-Karak and adding Karak Kadrin, Kislev, and possibly Bonerattlaz as well.
Thank you for your suggestions. As far as I know, there is no way of checking the number of completed Monster Hunts.
Agree with the other thing. Perhaps remove the Empire too?
@cybvep
Any suggestions?
There is potential for improvement as far as long VCs are concerned, though. For Wulfrik, I don't think that he should be forced to destroy the Empire (Reikland). The player is free to do that, but enforcing it doesn't seem like a great idea for a faction that is raidery in nature and doesn't have a way of occupying most of the territory. Wulfrik's quest bring him to Bretonnia and Couronne usually isn't as big as the Empire, so its destruction is a more fitting objective. However, I think that more sandboxy objectives would be even better. Wulfrik is called "the Wanderer" and "the World Walker" and Norsca is basically a semi-horde faction. I've had most fun playing him when I was doing expeditions in various parts of the world. There are 12 unique Norscan techs based on control of various faction capitals. So, instead of requiring faction destruction for long victory, how about requiring the control of at least 3/4 of these capitals? Any ones, let the player decide. Some of them are close, some of them are far, but by requiring control over 3 or 4 of them it won't really be a slog. Moreover, you CAN actually occupy them, so there is no problem with whack-a-mole.
Throgg is a bit different. His location doesn't give as much freedom as Wulfrik's and he has a more clearly defined "home" area, i.e. the Troll Control. Therefore, I agree that for long victory I think that he should be required to destroy Kislev and Karak Kadrin instead of Karaz-a-Karak and Empire. Bonerattlaz can be added to the list as well, there can be only one king in the Troll Country! Additionally, I think that Throgg should be required to control Erengrad (he has a unique landmark building there) and Kislev and at least 1 of the 12 capitals mentioned in the techs (instead of 3/4 like Wulfrik). The closest ones are Drakenhof and Altdorf, that's definitely not very far for long victory if the player wants to be done with the game.
