Update v1.5.0 - The Chaos Hordes Update
Discuss here anything related to the version v1.5.0 of the mod.
- Now Beastmen have to destroy Middenland, Laurelorn Forest, Talsyn, Argwylon, Torgovann and Wydrioth to achieve a Short Victory - World Walkers do no have to destroy Empire and Bretonnia anymore to achieve a Long Victory - Now World Walkers have to control at least 3 world capitals to achieve a Long Victory - Redone of Wintertooth Victory Conditions - Now they have to destroy Kislev - Now have to control Erengrad and Kislev - Redone of Wintertooth Long Victory Conditions - They do not have to destroy Empire and Karaz-A-Karak anymore - Now they have to destroy Karak Kadrin and Bonerattlaz - Now they have to sack or raze at least 60 regions - Warriors of Chaos victory conditions have been redefined to embrace their freedom - Now they do not have to destroy the Empire, Bretonnia, Dwarfs and High Elves to achieve a victory - Minor fixes

Looks good, Wolfy. Norsca should be fun with the changes. Old horde factions like Beastmen or Chaos pretty much have to be a bit more generic by their very nature, because they don't have separate VCs for different lords. Still, I think that the new VCs will be much better because of the reduced impact of whack-a-mole. When you don't have to fully destroy Reikland, for example, then the game instantly becomes more fun, because you won't have to chase them around the map.

The funny thing is that while Chaos LLs always start in the same boring place, the Beastmen LLs actually start in different parts of the map, yet they seem to share the same VCs. That's very strange.

If I were CA, I would place each LL in a diffent subfaction, each one in one place. There are also mods to achieve that.

I have been said that perhaps there is a way to have a script condition that changes after loading which lord are you playing with, but I do not know anything about it.
1) "Earn 20000 from raiding"
Is this a cumulative total, or is that at once during one single turn? Sounds tricky as a one turn condition.

2) Huntsmarshal's Expedition "Defeat Archaon"
Usually Archaon is defeated before the player has anything to do about it. Especially for a faction starting so far from chaos wastes.

Cumulative total. Same than in vanilla.

This has not been touched in this update. However, to answer your question, it is placed there for the loreful concerns (you are not going to let The Empire die). As they are that away, they do not need to destroy Chaos, just "to be sure" than Archaon is not a deal anymore.
