A patch called v1.6.1 - The Lady and the Count Minor Fix has also been released. This is the changelog:
- Now The Barrow Legion does not have to destroy Bordelaux and Carcasonne anymore. - Now Carcasonne does not have to defeat Clan Fester but Clan Spittel.

This is one mighty changelog. Impressive.

I did some quick tests and noticed some small things:
- Kemmler's LV requires him to destroy Bordelaux and Carcasonne and I don't think that it's necessary anymore, considering how his VCs work now (he has to control the starting regions of these factions);
- Alberic has to destroy factions which are unique to Vampire Coast (the pirates with the shanties), which obviously shouldn't be the case;
- this one is my mistake... Clan Fester is located in Lustria, so obviously Carcasonne shouldn't be required to destroy them. The one in the mountains near Athel Loren is called Clan Spittel.

Apart from the joke.

For 1 and 3 I am going to release a fix. For 2, I do not know if these factions can appear by AI actions, so I added them just because why not. They are no problem to deal.

I honestly feel that Sylvania should try to destroy the Empire and defeat Chaos and Archaon, the reason why is because taking over the empire is Mannfred's ambition, just as much as Vlad and Isabella's, indeed it is the ambiton of all vampires from the von carstien bloodline, to which mannfred is apart of. its just mannfred and Vlad with his wife Isabella are rivials and thus they cannot co-exist.

As for defeating Archaon and chaos, simple self-preservation, The vampires would want to prevent the end of the world as much as everyone else because the living are their only food source for one, and blood is what powers the dark magic that keeps them from dying and turning into dust.

Not to mention that if the world ends or becomes slaves to chaos, then the vampires have nobody to rule over, which is one of their favorite pass-times. All of these reasons are why I feel that Sylvania should be required to destroy the Empire faction as well as stop the chaos invasion.

As said in the front page, there is always a negotiation between gameplay and lorefulness. It is clear than Mannfred wants something similar to Vlad and Isabella, but two campaigns with the same objectives are just plan and boring. They need to be different somehow.

Also, about the lore, as far as I know Mannfred did not give a ♥♥♥♥ about the chaos til the very end.
