1. there's no minigame in wii sports resorts that takes place on roads (as far as im aware it's been a long time since i've played) so nintendo didn't need to make the roads particularly wide
2. a max size gmod map is smaller than you'd expect. ~624 by 624 is only about a third of kilometer, 6 times smaller than the actual size of wuhu island
- It's rather difficult to escape the swimming pool behind the hotel without noclipping.
- Regarding water, only the main ocean should use the "Water" shader. The rest should use either Refract or LightmappedGeneric (to show cubemaps), or a clever two-brush combination of the two.
TopHATTWaffle's WaterSource textures/river tutorial are something I'd recommend for good-looking water.
Stillwater Grotto lacks water altogether for some reason.
I would also like to help make ambient soundscapes for the various areas on the map. This map is amazing and part of my childhood, but it just needs a little polish on the edges.
