I read the parliament suggestion. I agree that rimworld is to small scale for it but maybe make a voting box that the colonies use to vote like a republic would. so you see them voting for the laws, secession types , and elections you have/pass so it is not just a click and it happens. Also means the people can stop laws from passing. It would give more life to the decisions you make through laws. it can also be a law you pass to allow the voting box to be used for law making but can be used if you have elections through voting and it can be in the Democratic decisions. Like you don’t have to have the people vote on laws or you can.
