Close Combat Weapon profile added to all units?

So I've been adding CCWs to Guard and SM Tacs and overall it makes range 1 combat much more deadly with guard dealing on average 5 kills to Kroot hounds. If this looks weird or just unbalanced let me know what you think so that I could make a sub mod or just remove it entirely.
