Dedicated server
What do I do to get this to run oon a dedicated server. It works when run in SP as well as when I run it on a server hosted on my local PC. However, when I run a dedicated server on a seperate PC and then loc in as a client on a second PC the mod does not initialize. Why?

I'm gonna try running it on a dedicated server and see if I can reproduce the issue.

brilliant. it should reproduce. I tried it on several dedicated servers. just use the sample mission you generated.

There doesn't seem to be any issue as long as you put the mod name in the -mod property into quotation marks: -mod=@CBA_A3;@ace;"@Kyklop's Electronic warfare"

odd.

I copied this line into my init.sqf on the server. I loaded the addon via TADST, hosted the game on the serverr-side pc and logged on via the client-side pc. no joy. what am I doing wrong?

That could be because you're not supposed to define mods in init.sqf but as a startup parameter for the server executable

I didn't define the mod in the init.sqf.

I have the line below in the init.sqf:

[] spawn compile preprocessFile "defineJammers.sqf";

but it does not work.

Wait, what exactly are you trying to do? I thought your issue was that my mod didn't init on your server and now you're talking about custom jammer configuration.

If you're asking about if the jamming affects friendly units then yes. My jamming mod affects all units with no regards to the side of the given unit.

i understand but for some reason it does not work i mean i turn on the jamming yet we can hear each other from PRC 343 with ACRE which we have the mod so anything we need to set up from addon options ?

Okay, could you open an issue on my github page please? https://github.com/KyklopCZ/Kyklop_EW/issues I will try to help you there. If you're using my mod together with other mods it would be helpful if you could attach a full list of your active mods to the issue report.
