Zebra, maybe send your crash report to the Tabletop Simulator help and technical support. It might be a tts problem.

Played a game with friends where there were only 3 of us. One thing we noticed is when clicking reveal we could tell when the cards were shuffled or not by paying attention to their placement before they flip over to see if they shifted any.

I would like to suggest the code be edited so when you click reveal the blindfold comes down before the cards are revealed. I'm sure this probably isn't a problem with larger player counts so perhaps a opt-in toggle button could be added to the table to pick if players should be blinded before the card reveal or not?

We of course just blindfolded ourselves (except for the story teller) but I thought it would cool if it was automated like let the rest of the game.

Hmm... odd. You shouldn't be able to see cards move because it's instantaneous in the code.

Maybe you were playing with the older version of this mod with the old cards? I updated it last night to use the official Dixit cards only and they should all be homogeneous now.

I'll get back to you on that then. We got and played it yesterday. Might be worth noting that I wasn't the host. When the people I played with are available later today we'll to some testing to see if it'll still happen.

Actually just did a sessions where I made sure my wife was host. Before the cards flip over if they shuffle they kinda spaz out a little. I kept doing this until I got a instance where they don't shuffle, in which case the cards just smoothly turned over without spazzing.

Yeah, I see that now it's very slight. I'd say just just avert your eyes if you can notice the jitter and have the storyteller always click reveal. I don't think it makes sense to have everyone blindfold for half a second haha. But I'm sure no one you play with would cheat.

We'll just keep with manually blind folding then x3, it's not that we're worried about someone cheating so much if someone happens to be paying attention at the right time they could realize there was no jitter.

What happened for you?

If I remember correctly from what MrSuperJolly designed is, as long as the Storyteller makes sure to place their card in slot 1 under the star token, it should all work properly.

Ok. MrSuperJolly let me know what you were talking about. He made a fix and will test, then I'll push the fix! Thanks for the catch! :D
