Sid Meier's Civilization V

Sid Meier's Civilization V

Faerun for BNW
I like it, but...
I like a lot of things about this mod. I mean, any game that lets me play as dwarves gets a lot of points starting out. The heroes are a lot of fun and I am blown away with just how much content there is. However, there are two things I really dislike about the mod that I wish I had a way of changing.

1) Charters. I hate them. It's a really clever mechanic and certainly adds to the strategy element of the game. However, their existence strongly encourages conquest, since the hard limit on the number of cities you can found makes expansion otherwise impossible. While all Civ games eventually result in this happening once all the empty land has been filled with settlements, I would prefer to have the options of founding as many cities as I like. If I knew anything about modding Civ V, I'd edit this mod to either remove the city limit or give every civilization 999 charters at the start of the game.

2) Religions. I like that this mod includes a bunch of religions from the Forgotten Realms (though the fact that I haven't seen Moradin yet is a great disappointment. I have a feeling he wasn't included.) Unfortunately, I really dislike that I have to go hunting for free cities with the religion I want to follow. In my last game, I spawned o a continent with only evil deities, while I was trying to play a good-aligned civilization. By the time I managed to cross the ocean and start currying favor with the good deities, my capital had already become a stronghold for Cyric worship. While clerics and trade routes allowed me to start combating this unfortunate circumstance, it would have been a major uphill battle to get most of my citizens to follow non-evil deities. I'd much rather be given the option to pick my deity from a list when I choose an alignment, or at some other point. Alternatively (or perhaps additionally), it would be nice if there were more options for controlling the spread of religions within my civ, perhaps with clerics or missionaries.
