Some Quests Still Buggy in v12 BNW
Playing Faerun for BNW (v12), single player, several quests are/were problematic. All the intro texts load and display well, but in about 15% of the quests, the next dialog detailing exactly what needs to be done comes up blank. At times, the target hex to which a hero must travel is obscured by other message boxes; it would help if the nature/destination of such quests was stored somewhere that could be consulted on subsequent turns. Lastly, on v12 (at least) the quest that ends up with the hero fighting 3 anti-paladins with the help of an archer is just about broken. The message box that presents that scenario will not close unless repeatedly clicked on or the user leaves Civ5 temporarily and then returns. In the meantime, each click on the unresponsive message box spawns an additional 3 anti-paladins and 1 (lonely and soon overpowered) archer. Once, by the time I got it to close, I had 21 anti-paladins to dispose of.

Having said that, Faerun overall is an awesome labor of love and thoroughly playable. Since discovering it, I rarely play Civ5 vanilla any more. Bravo to all its creators!

Glad you're enjoying the mod. v.13 does solve the issues you outline above, including an addition to the top panel that details where to go and by which turn when a quest continues.

Yeah, the quests in v13 are all running quite smoothly so far, so lots of behind-the-scenes work is evident. Thanks! Overall difficulty seems to have climbed quite a bit, though, and having opted for 'Neutral', I'm having to constantly fend off barbarians with my shovel while my workers plant tree upon tree for forests. Maybe if I find a way to hug a few (trees, workers- hell, even a barbarian or two), things will go faster. lol
