Connecting cities above and below ground
I cannot figure out how to connect above-ground cities to my underground capital. I am playing as the orcs, and none of my cities outside of the Underdark are connected. Is it at all possible?

By the way, thanks for the awesome mod. I ended up buying GnK and BNW because I tried the vanilla, and I loved it.

I thought the underdark is just another continent rather than being actually underground.
Download and tick the in game editor.
Run the game with it.
Click the * IGE * .
You get a panel up and towards the top is an icon allows you to peek at the whole map.
Click it.
When I tried starting a game with the underdark I got a map with a big continent on the right. Orcs start in the North rather than the underdark.
Over to the left ( west ) is a mountainous continent with the dwarves.
Does this map match yours?

In which case you need to research the technology and build a ship.
If not, I have no idea what you're doing.

I'll give it a try. It makes no sense that you can connect two oceans that are at different altitudes, but if that's the way it's implemented, it must be the only way.

How do you know they are at different altitudes in the game?
