Section Balance
Please leave me any feedback regarding the overall balance of the sections. I would like all of the sections to be "viable" in game, not just for role playing. If a certain combination or any individual sections seems too strong or weak to the point where you feel you would ALWAYS or NEVER use it, please discuss that here.

I would like to make regular balance updates, but I know updating too frequently can disturb current save sessions. Therefore, I will aim to take all the balance feedback in this channel and make monthly balance updates.

I'd say that perhaps the torpedo stern for the destroyer could have two S slots and an Aux slot removed to balance out the additional weaponry provided by the missile slot.

A very small, teeny tiny nitpick is that the "Hanger" sections should be "Hangar" sections, but that's just me being a nitpick and really doesn't affect anything. I've learned to expect and forgive types in mods because, as I've learned myself, editing something I've personally written, regardless of how expansive it is, can be hard and grueling work, so if it gets the point across, I usually can just ignore it.

What exactly does the "Patrol ship" section actually do for the Corvette? It seems like a serious downgrade. My guess is that it's likely cheaper, but I don't know how useful something like that is aside from RP reasons.

I haven't been able to experiment with much because of how many mods I have installed and what they do with the tech card deck (I've had times where I've needed to wait a decade for something like Crystal extraction to appear lol), so I'll provide better feedback once I see these in action.

I usually really love ship section mods and I think this one may remain on my modlist for as long as it's compatible, even if it's not balanced :D

Thank you for your feedback. I agree the destroyer Torpedo stern is a bit too strong, so I will likely adjust it when I do the first balance update at the end of the month.

Could you give me some more information about what you mean with the Hanger sections? Is it the naming convention? I named anything with 1 Hanger as a "Hanger Bay" and anything with 2+ Hangers as a "Carrier Section." If this is confusing or bothersome I wouldn't be opposed to changing it. (I have already changed the name of "Utility Sections" to "Tactical Sections" to avoid confusion, but I haven't updated the screenshots yet)

The Patrol boat is somewhat leftover from my other larger mod. In that one it provides extra piracy suppression, but I couldn't do that without overwriting some files. So in this version it is just cheaper and has 2 Aux slots which allow 2 afterburners for higher sublight speed allowing your patrol boats to patrol a larger area more efficiently. I may make another mod that adds a patrol ship class as separate from the corvette, so I don't have any file conflicts.

Don't worry about sounding 'nitpicky.' I genuinely appreciate the feedback.

As for the "hanger" sections, I think it's one of those problems with english where there's two words that are practically identical but have different meanings. It's a big problem with loan words.

IIRC, a "hanger" is just something that hangs or helps hang up things, while a "Hangar" is used for aircraft/strikecraft storage. "Hangar" is french and is pronounced a different way than "Hanger", but I guess someone must have gotten lazy and just pronounced "Hangar" like "Hanger." It's a "whole" vs "hole" problem.

Found a webster dictionary article that explains it: https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/hangar-vs-hanger

Well I learned something. I'll definitely fix that.
