The normal seasons deck contains two "Season of Visions" and two "Season of Despair". This mod removes those four season cards from the deck and replaces them with three "Season of Balance" and one "Season of Silence" (a vanilla season that does nothing when drawn.)

The Season of Balance, when drawn, triggers the "Season of Balance" situation token, similar to the way that other seasons trigger other situation tokens. The Season of Balance situation token magnets in Fascination, Dread, Contentment, and Fleeting Reminiscences, tracking them similarly to the way that the Season of Visions and the Season of Despair tracks the cards they magnet.

- Like the Season of Visions, the Season of Balance can cause player death if it holds 3 unquelled Fascination.
- Like the Season of Despair, the Season of Balance can cause player death if it holds 3 unquelled Dread.
- Like the Season of Visions, the Season of Balance will use Dread to cancel out Fascination.
- Unlike the Season of Despair, the Season of Balance will use Fascination to cancel out Dread.
- Unlike the Season of Despair, the Season of Balance will collect Fleeting Reminiscence, even if it doesn't contain any Fascination.
- Unlike the Season of Visions, the Season of Balance will collect Contentment, even if it doesn't contain any Dread.
- Unlike the Seasons of Visions and Despair, the Season of Balance will, when it no longer contains any Dread/Fascination, continue to search for Dread/Fascination for 60 seconds, activating all over again if it finds anything.
