CHANGELOG
Since the changelog is getting larger and larger, I'll move the info on all the updates here and only leave the latest update notes in the mod description page.

UPDATE 1
  • Interaction changes.
  • Added highlights on all cable blocks.
  • Now it will attach at aim surface point rather then block center.

UPDATE 2
  • Interaction changes, see USAGE for more info.
  • Cables now limited to one connection sadly. Hopefully temporary. The bugs arise when more then one cable connection is established.
    Until i figure out how to deal with this issue, I limited the connection to 1 per tether block.
  • Colored cables to indicate valid or invalid placements.
    Normal color means nothing is in vicinity for connection, you're just holding a high voltage cable.
    Red cable - it can't be connected, probably because it's already connected and will disconnect or because it's same grid or connected via other means (connectors).
    Green - Can be connected.

UPDATE 3
  • Persistent connections. Finally. Thanks to Malware and FurtherV - Alex and AccidentallyTheCable for the help.
    Not that i really used any of it yet as I'm yet to figure out their instructions but since it's a single connection now, i found a workaround. 😅

UPDATE 3 HOTFIX
  • Connections that remain between other grids even when no cables are attached. Hopefully this is fixed now.
    In order to make sure all of the connections are properly established, you may need to disconnect every cable by going to all the tether blocks and right-clicking them and then make a new connection. Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Figuring this out, this also means that multiple connections are possible which will be possible in the coming updates.

UPDATE 3 HOTFIX 2
  • Added error handling on the last reported NRE crash bug.

UPDATE 4
  • Fixed a bug where deleting a block some tether block is connected to would keep the connection and draw the cable to the center of the universe (SE's universe that is).
  • Added block variants g-menu scroll, parent block being the power line pillar block.
  • Added custom icons to make it easier to find/spot in the block menu.

UPDATE 5
  • Edited powerline pillar model and added mount-point on the top of Powerline pillar for block placements, like lights etc.

UPDATE 6
  • Fixed cables not disconnecting after the distances exceed the limits.
  • Fixed void cables. Was a good one tho.🤣
  • Fixed cables disconnecting if one of the blocks is damaged or incomplete.
Thanks Oldru_Vallière for helping me see the bugs in action. 😂
Note, some new bugs may arise from fixing the original ones so in such cases, I apologize for the inconvenience. 😅

UPDATE 6 HOTFIX
  • Fixed issue where trying to attach a cable beyond the set distance would seemingly allow attachment and even notify as such even though the connection isn't actually established.

UPDATE 7
  • Fix for MP interaction issues.
  • Cable distance rework that goes as follows:
    Two static grids cable distance 200m;
    Two large grids cable distance 100m, regardless if and which is the static one;
    Two small grids cable distance 20m;
    Cable distance between a large and small grid is 50m.
