For me that does work fine - for *single* mods...
Your steps 5) and 7) only produce beeps, without changing the list of selected mods, though.
( and I *did* take care to choose the 2310-mod when multiselecting... )
But then that is so, no matter *which* mods I try to multiselect... maybe my install is broken in some way ?
Though in that case it's curious that I have no problem playing single mods - recently tried ST 2380, HW PnF, and Cataclysm Remastered without too many errors ( C-R's AI still is unfinished and thus gave some problems, but the other two worked flawlessly ) .
I think you should try reinstalling everything onto an internal disk. Otherwise, I have no idea what the problem could be.
I only tested it with a windows computer on Steam, so if you have a mac or bought the game somewhere else that might be it as well. But same thing, I don't know how to help you with that.
Good luck!
As I said, the issue on my side is specifically with the launcher, not your mod.
I had hoped there was a trick to it that I missed ( and that you might know ) , but now it indeed seems that my install of HWRM is the problem
Good luck with your mod.
yeah, confirmed, -mod does not work either
Hm... which commandline-switches for HWRM are there? I only found guides with some for the Classic-variants of HW 1 and 2 . :/
Maybe some commandline-switch might help with my problem??

You'll need to find the path to the .big files of the mods on your computer, but I just tried it out and it works for me.
Good luck!
Unfortunately, some more general problems are in the way right now
I think you must have installed the mods in the wrong order. This mod doesn't have a random setting because it might use too much memory if you start a game with all of the races in it. Follow the installation steps in the first post very carefully, and the mod order should look like the instructions-picture in the description.
