Multiplayer Question

(Sorry if I'm not supposed to start a discussion here)
Would this game work if one player has the Tabletop Simulator and hosted others with remote play or is there things (eg cards) that need to be kept secret from other players? Thanks, this game looks cool so I'd like to try it.

I tried remote play together only one time and like you, i notice that i can see friend's hand and he can control my game. This happen months ago and now i not remeber if i wrong somethings.

In Root, your cards hand is secret, yes.
