Feature Request
First things first: A genuine thanks for making this mod, as it's obviously a five-star rated tool and greatly improves the game.

My humble requests:

[1] Editing dead characters: Looks like this mod previously supported editing dead characters, and I would very much like to regain that ability. The reason being, of course, providing a remedy for irksome things like sick gowns and rare instances in which you execute rulers, and then find that the game had quickly dressed them in rags (having been stripped of titles) before locking their portrait from being edited.

Perhaps a separate branch would suffice if you don't want that feature in the main one.

[2] Display and calculation of height: I can recall using this mod in previous builds, probably dating to the 1.12 era, in which a numeric readout of height was present at the bottom of the menu. I don't know if it was this mod, or another, that implemented that feature (triple-digit load order) but I would quite like to see that back. Additionally, giant height calculation is currently wonky and doesn't respond to manipulating the value located in common>script_values>sval_barber_traits.txt

The height numerics definitely used to indicate giants being 8'3"+, but they're currently locked to about 6'10". Funnily enough, the characters appear taller (on the booking-photo style height chart) if you remove the giant trait, and they then appear to grow a couple inches.

Perhaps the giant height problem is some kind of conflict I'm unaware of, and I'll dig a little deeper to see if I may be able to find another value in the vanilla files to tweak.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks again

apologies for replying so late but I don't get notified when someone starts a discussion.
1. See the first screenshot on the mod page. All you need to do is pin a dead character and add them on the second tab of the barbershop.
2. The function for calculating a gene (like height) was removed by Paradox. So it's impossible to get back. My calculation was also very much off, it turns out, so good riddance.
I have also seen that weirdness with giants, that's just how Paradox coded it, this mod doesn't change it in any way, simply lets you see properly the effect it has.

It is possible to have the option to modify body fat?
@Agami Ah, thanks for showing me that tip! Here I was resorting to save editing lol. And, thanks for giving insight regarding height calculation. I wonder if it's possible to impose our own functions on the game; I definitely enjoyed making 10-foot-tall characters, but I'm still very green when it comes to making working code from scratch.
@Moiros If you check out the screenshot that's currently fourth in the lineup, it shows a tab titled 'Body'. If that tab isn't visible, then maybe try placing Better Barbershop lower in your load order.

I think there was a possibility to copy color scheme for the clothes to the system clipboard before, or am I mistaken? I cannot do that now. Is this something on my end, or the feature was removed? I actually preferred a possibility of entering colors by numbers, I think you had that in the previous version a couple years ago (unless again, I am confusing that with something). Are you planning to bring back any of these features? I often use similar color schemes in my runs, and I could reuse them in this way. If that's not possible, no problem, just asking. Thank you for your work and keeping this mod alive for so many years!

it was possible with the actual color-picker, I still have this in the coa designer iirc.
But since it was removed, with this custom system we can't copy to clipboard or enter them manually.

Okay, yeah, I use that in CoA designer all the time, I didn't know that this is your mod too. Please do not remove it from CoA designer if you can. I guess custom system is more user friendly in Better Barbershop.
