Barely getting raided
My game is 3 years old, and i have gotten like 4 raids that were like sent in the first 10 days. and since then not a single raid has happened. The same is about trade caravans, im getting only royal tribute guys and oribital ships have never come. They just go by my base and never attack, they only attack my caravans (rarely too)

Bumping: when I am raided it's only a scouting party, usually one sometimes two pawns. It feels like the AI doesn't consider me a threat?

I've been having the same issue on 3 separate playthroughs with Rim War now. I've tried enabling/disabling random behavior and scan and still nothing happens. I see activity happening all around but literally no one attacks my base, whether my settlement power is low or maxed.

I have found that the best solution is to disable the "Restrict Events" feature within the mod options and just let the storyteller handle raids and traders since I'm too invested in these playthroughs to disable RimWar or start over.

I got the same problem too. Even after I set the rimwar difficulty to hard, still only get one attack by four tribal men in two years of the game time.

same for me

Dunno why but allied caravan is count as raid, maybe this problem

Same problem here, compared to how often storytellers spawn raid on me like maybe 3 raids per quadrant, I am only getting raided maybe once a year.

I sometimes get incoming raid notifications but they disappear before they make it.
This raid took forever to appear too, and it was just a scouting party.

Does it have to do with how settlement points are calculated? I have the same issue, and when looking at my settlement points it shows me to have only 28 points, despite having a very wealthy settlement. Moreover, it says I need at least 282 for AI aggression.

I don't know how settlement points are calculated, so I do understand why mine are so low, despite having quite a few colonists and a lot of wealth.

My settlement point is at 12500 high. Same issue, no raid at all, trade caravans comes sometimes.

There are 2 enemy factions beside my settlement, but they never send anything toward me, even after I declare war on them.

This issue still persists in November 2021.

If you're not getting raided then there are a few things to check. RimWar events depend entirely on the elements that exist on the global map.
1. Go to the global map and check your colony and note how many "Settlement points" your colony has, also note the "min amount for AI aggression" value
2. Now check nearby settlements of other factions:
- Is your colony within their range radius?
- Does their settlement have as many or more points than you?
- Is their aggression amount more than the min amount needed?
- Is the faction hostile to you?

If the answer to all the above is yes, then that Settlement can send offensive units to attack your colony.
If the faction neutral, then it can send caravans to trade with the player, if their aggression amount is greater than the minimum required.
If the settlement has fewer combat points than the player, then it won't send any units, though it will attempt to request reinforcements from settlements in the same faction that are outside the radius of the colony.

One last thing to consider, if the settlement is hostile to you, but it's also hostile to 4 the factions of 4 other settlements in range, then it can select any of those 5 settlements to attack (you and the 4 other settlements).

Settlements can send drop pod raids to attack you when they're outside of the range radius. This event is less frequent and it does require that the faction tech level is capable of creating drop-pods (tribals will never send drop pods at you).

I hope this helps, if you're still not getting raided and you've verified all the above, then feel free to discuss the event further with me in discord, with screenshots.

After I defeated all hostile settlements in range, no raid happens, so I think it works as intended

So for me I get hostiles incoming notification, but then no hostiles appear (disappear at my base)
