Do you played in this storage a lot, don't you? The .log file full of errors, that makes searching sligtly difficult... Can you tell me what the backdoor you had used? And please discribe the problem how it was looking in the game (if you can).

Ok so, I don't think any of the doors work but the doors I used were the frontier door, then the medieval door. Also the problem I was having ingame was that when I use the doors they don't do anything,even when wired properly. I wouldn't be teleported between doors. I can make a new character to test this out if you'd like.

Ok so I was able to get it working with a new character and the jail cell doors. I'm going to try the jail cell doors on my old character now.

Hm, interesting... When I was searching the problem in your .log file I don't found any errors from my mod. All that doors I, of course, tested before upload the Backdoors update...I'll try to test them on one of my old characters, but if it'll show nothing I don't know how I can help you...
I would assume that the matter is in conflict with other modifications, but if the doors work on a new character ... This means that the matter has something to do with the already created universe...
Can you copy your main storage, delete the universe file (in copy, of course) and try to use backdoors without universe file? Oh, wait. About your new character. You had created he/she in your old storage (where your old character) or you had created he/she in the new one? If in the old, that means that the matter isn't in universe file...

Idk what you're talking about with old/new storage files but it's on the same character select screen as my old character so I'm gonna assume old

Great... :SBHorse: If that, I don't know why your old character can't use them. My last idea is to experiment with your storage file, maybe I'll find the problem by myself. But I'll do it only if you would like to continue it and upload your storage file to me (I would tell you how, if you don't know what is the storage file and where it is.)

Ok so it turns out the reason I wasn't teleporting was because my stats were too high. Also yes, I have tested this with other characters.

After placing down a Backdoor Station, everything on-screen disappears and gives me this error message.

Then the game shuts down. Thankfully doesn't brick your savefile.

John_Bigless CZ/ENG, I need your .log file. Right now I don't know what's the problem, but I can suggest that it maybe a conflict with other mod.

Do backdoors attempt to load the destination backdoor when trying to teleport the player? Because right now, a backdoor stops working if the destination backdoor is too far away. This becomes really obvious with Futara's Dragon Engine, which causes things to unload almost as soon as they're off the screen.

Kais, As you know, vanilla wiring objects have a limited connection distance. It means that the BACKdoors, as wiring objects, in the end of this distance wouldn't connect together. With, for example, vannila tram stops the issue solves by placing several stops-objects out of main railway. But with BACKdoors we can't do that, because of their specific "device". I mean, in this way we need to connect a lot of BACKdoors from the first one to the last one, that placed out of the wiring distance(1>2>3>4, for example). But their "specific device" will make the movement between them one-way: we will not be able to use them as if it were only two doors connected (1>2 and 1<2 (two-way movement)).

So I highly recommend to use the WTM-doors, when you need to connect two or more doors in the end of the wiring distance (at the two ends of a world, for example), because they work like vanilla teleporters (but enchanced. And their "webs" will not clutter the main teleportation menu, as it will the DOORporters). It means that they don't work as wiring objects, so the wiring distance wouldn't limite the doors. :SBHorse:

Nevermind, i tried to use the mod on a server that did not have the mod installed, under the pretense that it was installed. Error was on my end.

If you're also running Frackin' Universe, you could try placing a Watcher at both backdoors to prevent it from unloading. Worth a shot.
