Clothes
This is a thread for sharing links to clothes mods you use with the Weapons Of The Shogunate. I'll start by sharing the links to the clothes I used in the screenshots.

The black cloak is a simple recolour of the excellent cape in TheRoadStroker's superb Rogue Sorceress outfit: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21313 (I actually wore a recoloured black version of that one as a ninja outfit before.)

And the one in the naginata pic is the Leere Armour: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11756

Not sure if any of those are on Steam too. Probably. But that's where I got them.

The blue one used with the ninjatos on the back is the Blue Stripes Elite, specifically the Ves outfit, ported from Witcher 2: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7807/? (Only drawback is that it doesn't just have a neck seam, it has a neck GAP if you look close.)

The black outfit with the katana daisho on the tip (the one with brass at the end of the scabbards and the miniskirt) is the Karliah armour: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7681

The black ninja outfit with the mask, or from the pic with the dead argonian, is the Nightshade Armour. It actually looks better than in my crappy pics. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12070

Is it worth modding a game?

Well, like all questions of taste, it's one nobody else can answer for you. If some mod makes you think "damn, I want that", then yes. If you think the vanilla game is perfect as it is, then no.

Personally I'd say you should at the very least get Falskaar and Helgen Reborn off the Nexus, since they're quest-line mods that are well voiced and fit the general game setup very well, and, hey, we all like quests, right? Plus, Falskaar has at least as much content as an official expansion pack, and Helgen Reborn is up there too, and they're free. So if you've finished the vanilla game and still have an itch to scratch, you could do worse than playing those.

Vilja is also a good mod if you like companions and quests, since it's a companion with a quest line and a LOT of dialogue. She has something to say about just about every single place, quest or enemy in the base game. Seriously, she has more lines than the females of any two races combined in the base game. Plus, she's good at stealth for a change, and competent enough with weapons, and can eventually heal and buff you in combat too. Which makes things easier.

Downside, Emma did use a cheap and crap mic, plus Vilja's accent is as thick as it gets, so some people do dislike her voice acting. Some even very strongly. Personally I love her, really, but you'll have to decide for yourself, really.

And then there are the simple weapon and/or armour mods. Generally they don't do anything else than add some items, but not affect anything else. So basically if you look at an armour or weapon and think "you know, I would like my character to use that", then get it. If not, not.

Really, that kind of thing depends on how much you care about how your character looks. If you want your character to fit a certain concept, be it samurai, or renaissance assassin, or whatnot, getting the props that fit that concept helps. If, however, you couldn't care less what your character wears, as long as they kill their enemies, or if the existing props are already what you wanted, you obviously don't need any extra props.

So, again, it's something YOU will have to decide for yourself, MY imagining my character as some ninja or some Talhoffer-educated renaissance landesknecht doesn't mean jack if your character concept is something compleely different, or if you don't care about any other concept than getting the job done.

i find Skyrim to be the best half-finished game i've ever played: i spend hours ranting (and laughing) at all the dumb and simple bugs that any ordinary 3rd rate game would have... only Skyrim ain't supposed to be 3rd rate, its supposed to be N.1 most badass game ever...
So ! i find myself often looking around the workshop for cool mods. Sadly, i almost always only find mods that either add followers, houses, weapons or armour. (and the armour can usualy barely be called that since its for the girl and therefore shows more skin then it hides) But nothing that adds any actualy interesting quests, or fixes common bugs in Skyrim to make the gaming experience better... Sooooo yeah, this is as much a stattement as me asking you workshoppers...: Puh-lease make fix mods.

Well, I won't disagree with you that such bugs exist, but look for the "unofficial patch" mods on the Nexus for example. Some people in the community DID make that kind of of fix mods.

Not used in the screenshots, but since people keep asking about samurai armour, the Genji armour on the nexus is good IMHO: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30299/?
