I can't tell if this is an intentional thing or not but when people get ticked by the smoke they just sometimes don't get affected by soot. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it feels like a bug. Also sometimes when I grab someone it'll randomly apply the soot and I'll get an empowered grab without using any smoke. Is there something I'm missing? It just feels very inconsistent if this is an intentional mechanic.
