The Nitpickers Thread
Hi ya'll! This thread is for posting random issue that pop up along the route. Comments in this thread are critical to the quality of the final version and are very welcome.

Rules:
1. Either upload a screenshot of the issue and post it's link
OR
2. Tell me roughly where the issue is located and describe it.
3. I am open to major revision recommendations, however I don't have a lot of time right now so my ability to carry out those revisions may vary. If you give a detailed action plan for addressing the issue, I'd be much more likely to take it on.

Those who contribute to this thread will be considered developers as this is a vital step in making sure the route is ready to be listed as final. Once I can do so, many scenarios will be released.

Thanks,
-Wiley

Hey, its me again, the guy from the comments page. A few times I've walked through Moscow, and I noticed something small. Between a Taco Time and next to a place called Patty's Kitchen is what, to me, appears to be the remains of a signal.

I am not sure if this is or isn't one, but I thought it was worth a mention. Again I can't play your route due to DLC, but I can bring this up. Thanks for making this, man. Most beautiful place I've ever seen.

Woah very good catch! That does kinda look like a signal base to be honest as it's a bit too far from the road to be a crossing stand. With this finding it looks like I need to talk to the Whitman County historical society and ask if there were signals used in BN era. I think one of their members worked on the BN during that era so he'd know. So far this is the only evidence of an electric signal system I've seen on the P&L route. I do know of NP era semephore signals, but I lack the ability to model them accurately with the assets provide by TS.

That being said, I know wig wag crossing signals do have that same base design so it could also potentially be a wig wag crossing signal, and I know there were a lot of envrionmental projects in the area that could've effected the position of 6th street, but that is speculation on my end.

Here's a picture of a NP Wig Wag crossing signal that sort of resembles the one in your Moscow find(?)

Its late, so I'm sorry for the reply hours later, but I've been thinking on what to say and had a look at info available on the surface. Now there are three things it could be, in my rather terrible opinion: Semaphore, US&S Searchlight (?), or a Wig-wag like you said. It could really be any one of them, it could've been angled towards the road, or the railroad. Also a wig-wag and semaphores are obtainable! Maybe a year or two ago G-Trax released a route known as the Bessemer and Lake Erie. It was removed from the store due to issues with DTG and licencing, but recently G-Trax re-released it on their website. While users would have to install the route from a website it would provide access to both of these, if they were so required. I think its also still tag-able in the thingy, but I've no clue. A compromise between accuracy and effort, I'm afraid.
