Hello feelinWitchy,
The game consistently crashes for me a few rounds after the "Appoint Mars Mission Lead" dilemma. This mod is the only one I have installed. I have tried with different countries, the game always crashes during round change. My guess is something with the "Mars landing" event causes this, but sadly I don't know how to access the logs to verify that. I have never seen the Mars landing event or Mars mission failure happen in-game.

EDIT 26/12/20: Whatever it was, the bug does not happen with feelinWitchy's Demcocracy 4+, which is actively maintained and includes this mod.
