Suggestions
Please post any suggestions here. This can include changes to existing content or ideas for new things. If you have an idea for a new resolution tree, I am much more likely to implement it if you include names, descriptions, and effects for each level of the resolution.

Hi! I'd like to suggest to make the intervals between voting and emergency measures a bit longer as in my opinion it's way too short. Other than that I think you did an awesome job and I think that this mod will make interacting within the Galactic Community a lot more fun.

I'll consider it. I might just make a separate slower version; I usually only play to 2350 or so, so the current pace works for me, but I can see how it would be a bit fast for a full game to 2500.

Thank you for considering!
Perhaps it would be more flexible to be able to edit intervals via policies/edicts or an in-game mod menu? Or maybe that's too hard code? Some other mods I use have features like that, perhaps to avoid having to maintain several separate versions on the workshop.

I would do that if I could; when I first started making this mod I actually planned to make voting length resolutions as part of the "Galactic Reforms" resolution category. Unfortunately, it's controlled by a define which can't be changed dynamically, so it'd have to be a different version. I'm still planning on updating the mod in the near future, so I don't want to put up a second version right this moment, but you can change the voting length yourself: Go to the mod folder (Steam => Steamapps => workshop => content, one of the numbered folders in there is Stellaris, one of the folders in there is this mod) and then go to the common folder and the defines folder. There will be a text file called 00_galactic_defines. One of those defines is RESOLUTiON_VOTE_TIMER (which my mod sets to 100 days) and another is EMERGENCY_MEASURES_COOLDOWN (set to 360). Change those values to whatever you want, then save the text file.

I'd like an option for fanatic purifiers to join the council. Can't find a mod that does just that.

Idea -
working with the gigastructual engineer mod and making resolutions related to their mega structures. Would love to see that =)

I'd suggest a new Space Fauna resolution: Crystalline Entity Protection Act, which just like the Space Amoeba Protection Act extends pacification. I'd also recommend untethering the Space Amoeba Protection Act (and this Crystalline Entity one) from the Tiyanki Conservation Act if that's possible. There's no real story reason why empires (especially player ones) couldn't choose to support amoeba pacification but still allow tiyanki hunting.

(If you want to be cute with it, make empires with a lithoid-founding-species have increased weight for supporting the Crystalline Entity Protection Act.)

@anaphysik
Good idea! The "Protection Acts" are somewhat different from other resolutions, so I'd need to overwrite some vanilla events, and at the moment, "In Breach of Galactic Law" doesn't seem to be working for any resolutions (vanilla bug), so I'll wait until that's fixed to implement it. Once that's fixed (hopefully in the final release of 2.8.1 or 2.8.2), I'll see about doing it.

I wonder if its possible to make a Emergency Resolution that is triggered by the Endgame Crisis arriving that has a galactic council modifier that would allow the Council to have a sizable fleet capacity increase to help in dealing with endgame crisis. an example would be (Tier1: +100) (Tier2: +250) (Tier3: +500) (Tier4: +1000) along with Fleet upkeep reduction and cost reduction scaled for tiers. ( Im not sure how effective this would be in practice but im tired of being the Solo Clutch for my galaxy every time a crisis shows up.)

@Guardian
Hmm, interesting idea. It would be easier to just give the boost to everyone rather than just the council.

i'll spend a few days thinking of a more refined buff if this idea has grabbed your interest.

How about some sort of resolution for universal open borders?

That's actually one of the ways that I hope to eventually improve the Diplomacy resolution tree. So yes, I agree that it's a good idea :)

Building off @tmonahsn23's idea: how about a resolution tree focused on supporting the research, development and building of megastructures? It does make sense for the Galactic Community to sponsor this stuff when you considering stuff like the International Space Station irl. The early resolutions can focus on increasing researcher output (so people can get the megastructure tech), the middle tier might focus on helping to build habitats, while later resolutions increase megastructure build speed and capacity? For minuses, probably imposing and energy credit, influence, and/or alloy tax would make sense, or perhaps increasing the megastructures' upkeep? It would be great if you could code it in such a way that it is compatible out of the box with mods like Gigastructural Engineering but if not then a compatibility patch would be greatly appreciated.

A megastructure resolution tree is something I've been considering for a while. Let me think about the balance of it.
