Yeah please share how to fix it. I really wanna use this mod but the purple filter isn't helping.
I checked in the text files that seem to handle texture assignment, at some point they seem to have been copypasted in the wrong places. I simply winged it with renaming and it 'fixed' it. I still have the addon in .vpk format if anyone's willing to bypass the process (which I literally guessed it and that was a few years ago when I did) and just have an unofficial fix.
I see now why there is a missing texture around it: in order to fix itself, you have to also download the Zero's playermodel included as well and it will automatically fix itself. Kind of a bummer because I don't want to use this variant of Zero, and rather use the MMX DiVe model instead. I'm trying to do this fix myself however I get a little bit lost with the .vmt files, and ends up in a missing textures entirely.
It would've been better if you uploaded it to the workshop with the fix, unless you only want to share it as a .vpk instead.
UPDATE: Just fixed it now, all I had to do was take out the Zero's model materials with the zero_weapon_normal.vmt and zero_weapon_normal.vtf files into the addon's materials folder. I tested it out right now and it works perfectly without Zero's models.
