Well, let's get started.
1. Faction Quests. I always wanted that when a player interacts with other Candidates, and then agrees to join an alliance with them, the player could come to their leader, and that candidate would give you a quest for which the player would receive support points and other bonuses.
2. Advisors of other candidates. It would be logical if all Candidates had their own advisors, the same as the player's advisors. Just imagine: (Barons)Fellemo - Arint. (Rise)Kalandra - Flekfis/Seemli. (Jakes)Andwanette - Theroux. (Cult)Vixmalli - Pallitriax/Gorgula. (Spree)Nadan - Denikus. And (Admiralty)Oolo - Mullifee/Eden. And in the situation with the Admiralty, you can even make a Faction Quest (!). Oolo will ask you to help her choose an advisor. Mullifee and Eden will offer different bonuses to the player depending on the player's choice (plus, this choice may affect the player's political stance. Mullifee - enhanced Admiralty security. Eden - more taxes, idk)
3. The Fourth Advisor. How about an Advisor-engineer based on item cards? Btw, let him have the ability to change ordinary cards into item cards.
UPD: And also, let it be an automech (cool, right?) who was a mechanic in the past and found his own mind.
I propose adding bonuses and arguments to some factions and classes to help the opponent and make negotiations more difficult, the main thing is that these bonuses should be almost similar to those that NPCs give to the player.
These are interesting suggestions. Unfortunately they are too massive of changes, so I won't implement them. I am basically the only person working on this mod right now, and my schedules are very inconsistent. If I have more time, I might consider adding some suggestions, but right now, it's impossible.
I added this option in the new experimental update. Hopefully I can get it pushed to the main branch some time soon.
I did consider it! If I have time, that is definitely something I want to implement. Unfortunately right now I compose these themes by myself, and I'm not very good at them.
These are the behavior of the base game. It is definitely a good idea to add custom hinder mechanics if I have time, but it's not the top priority.
