Well, you should check the list of mods. If you want a clean start, go the appdata
c:\Users\<YOURNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\
and delete your game configs - you can sefely delete everything inside. Then just start rimworld by steam. It will repopulate the config. Then follow the guide and install the mods with rimpy.
You can also add this mod:https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1507748539
And go then after the game has started to the mod area and check for conflicts.
Also, ensure you play with the latest rimworld patch 1.2.
It will work if done right.
Anyway, please post your ModsConfig.xml so i can give it a quick check,
Also - after importating the rimpy list, you have to press SAVE then RUN. Or it will not load the old list.
Whatever, i need a clue what the problem is, i know people run it fine as i do. But this list is heavy, a single miss order can kill the loader.
This is the error log I get when I click "New Colony" - https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/eb764b048b570fb9a8baa6d5f786a283
And this is once I load into the game, this pops up and then the pawns never actually land - https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/c8b43082dd2043b7547ae26f9e6bfceb
I'm letting Mod Manager make local copies of all the mods right now, in case something else updates and breaks things. I'm terrible at modding and troubleshooting Rimworld though, which is why I just use mod collections put together by more knowledgeable people honestly, sorry!
I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out why I was also having this similar bug related to not being able to get past the planet’s creation screen. Now I've *fixed* it for me. Although I am still having issues. Mainly the HUD is abit buggy.
But, I'll go over what I've figured out:
The two "Local" Mods you have to download which @Anaraptor linked- are actually broken, Or older versions of the files you needed. Simply said those links don't actually give you the Rocketman + Soyuz that you need.
Those two links seem to be the source files. Which modders would use, but not players(?) The actual links and files that worked for me were on the discord. They’re the most ‘recent’ files. Here are some screenshots:
https://gyazo.com/c0114c5200094260297fb4d5884c364f
These two files were uploaded yesterday. They’re very new. So this may be why the links of Analraptor’s modpack page are ‘broken’.
You need Soyuz, and Rocketman. The prepatch link on the modpack page works, fine but the Rocketman/Soyuz dose not
These two files on the Dubs Mods “Fix-list” are what you need. I do not know why the source file rocketman doesn’t work. I am not a modder, but this is what I had to do to get my game to load past planet creation screen. Lastly. The PrisionLabor, and Smart_Medince are labeled as ‘Modname’_copy, on the XML mod load list. What this means is that when you install these two mods from the Dubs_mods discord, the path on the modlist is wrong, thus I had to manually enable these two mods. By downloading them from the discord, then placing them within the mod load order.
But, with all of that said, the mod pack is well done- and besides a little bit of fine-tuning the performance and gameplay is enjoyable. I don’t ever write guides or anything. So I am sorry if this isn’t perfect.
BUT hopefully, @Analraptor can see this and fix the issue, or at the very least this will help point towards whatever the issue was.

Anyway, to avoid any possible installation problem, i did now this: I uploaded my local fix-list mods as zip.
That WILL run fine and if there are problems it should be clear its not that set of mods.
Read about and get it here:

I guess its Rocketman, they updated that thing 3 times a day, but in the logs of Juniper this lines looks not right:
[BetterLoading] Obtained lock, assuming we're done with post-finalize.
Finished post-finalize at 637423799533648176
Loaded file (Scenario) is from version 1.1.2579 rev1090, we are running version 1.2.2753 rev712.
Notice the last line claiming a version problem.
This is either a problem with the new Rocketman version (you can remove that mod without problems, its just a performance booster) or with Rimworld.
If that not get away i suggest to deinstall Rimworld, delete all and the config in the user area by hand and reinstall it. Also, a "check file" from steam can help. There should be no scenarion mismatch when you start a vanilla storyteller and world.
Normally, that 3 lines should look like this:
BetterLoading] Obtained lock, assuming we're done with post-finalize.
Finished post-finalize at 637424313564072023
ROCKETMAN: Creating world map cache
No version mismatch
I also removed Soyuz from the mod list, its even not released and pre beta. We can put it back when its stable.
the effect makes sense, rocketman hooks in manipulating the ingame ticks, means how fast and often things are processed . Well, normally it should throttle stuff down, not up.
I got that storage effect to sometimes, its harmless. You have the mouse press a bit longer for the settings. It stopped for me at same point, no idea why.
