I can't remember where but gastronomy will collide with some stuff and it not really needed, you can try it out as custom changes to your game of course.
I like the desynchronized mod and in fact i had some similiar added with No Quest without Comms which also has optional stuff in (its not all about the comms).
The problem is, that it will not work as expected. Thats a nice have for vanilla and a small mod list.
Reason is, that other mods will fire their events and quest if not patched - not all use the same mechanism.
And because these information mods can't patch magically everything and because there is not main infertace they can easilly hook in you will end up in set of quests/events/infos which are following that new rules and some not.
What is strange enough and you will still get alot and some not but more worse - some mods depend on other events or infos. And will assume the vanilla behaviour of the other mods.
So - desynchronized class mods only make sense when all mods fit to their rules which is with such a massive list like the masterlist not to the case.
You can of course try it out, but i removed the No Quest without Comms after i playtested it, it just makes no sense if you get like still 30-40% of all quests you should not get and some other not.

We have to look in balance then too, the mechas are already super strong in this collection.
I have been struggling to get a good mod list without serious performance issues.
I notice you have excluded some mods I would like to use, but I guess that these are the ones tanking my game. TO be a true Rimmer I guess I have to make sacrifices :(
Anyway going through your mod list I noticed that you are using ResearchPal from Charlotte dated 20 Aug.
There is an updated version of this mod, ResearchPal Forked which has increased noticeable performance. Would you switch to this one or is there a reason we shouldn;t use it?
