My stat ideas (be reasonable)
Since we're talking about a weapon in that is very similar in looks to the M60, an LMG carried by one man, we must talk about stats that belong to a one barreled, chambered in the same ammo as the regular mini gun. So what we could have is a weapon that has 25% less ammo (150 rounds), 20% less fire rate, +30/40 accuracy, and +20 mobility.

As well no spin sound.
Phlogistinator 14 Mar, 2015 @ 11:17pm
really?
I liked your idea of having the 25% less ammo and other M60 stats, but how about replacing the 20% less firing rate with something else?
Just a suggestion, but maybe it should be 45% slower spin up time?

Well diesel, I did the fire rate decrease because, just like in real life, the M60 cant shoot as fast as a minigun, so you would need some decrease, and plus, the tomislav has the same decrease in RPM, so doing this wouldnt be all that bad, the spin up should actually be faster, as an M60 weighs around 23 pounds, where a minigun weighs 60, so it easier to aim, arm up, and order your weapon then it would be a minigun.

pros:
1337% more fire rate
360% more mobility
999% accuracy
420% more damage
9999% shorter spin-up time
every time you fire a hacker gets vac banned
cons:
999999% smaller clip (1 bullet)
if you aren't firing, hackers get directed to your server

But really, I like your stat ideas.

With only a single bullet to fire, and dealing 420% more damage, a regular minigun dealing a base damage of 9 per bullet, that equals a 37 damage shot. One 37 damage shot. It's very accurate, but 37 damage won't even kill a spy with a conniver's kunai with the max health debuff.

Pros and Cons explained:
Pros:
-Every time you fire a single bullet, a hacker gets VAC banned.
-Infinitely accurate
-While spinning the barrel, you recieve a major speed boost and can run much faster. If we use the percentage speed boost as an actual boost to the current walkspeed, (heavy runs at 37% speed while spinning, 77% normal), that would put his spinning walkspeed at 397%, which is much more then the 173% speed of a scout with baby face's blaster at 100% boost. Basically he would be able to stream around the map like a missile.
Cons:
-Can only fire once, dealing 37 damage before you must collect ammo to deal another 37 damage
-While spinning the barrel, all detected hackers at the time are funneled to your server, and aren't automatically vac banned.
-While spinning the barrel, you take 500% more damage + take crits, making you pretty much dead if anyone hits you.

Overall, this weapon is pretty balanced in CTF, and possibly in gamemodes with capture points, because of the speed buff, but the extra damage you take while shooting around the map counters that. In any other gamemode this thing is kind of useless, unless you enjoy banning hackers/wannabe admin.

Wow, I seriously over-evaluated my own joke...

From the loooks of it, it seems to be able to ground itself on a surface acting as a stationary gun rather than just a moving weapon. Keeping that in mind, here's my suggestion.

Pros:
Press Mouse 2 to ground/unground yourself
While grounded, regain 3 HP per second
No spinup required while grounded

Cons:
Cannot move while grounded
Takes 3 seconds to ground
No spinup while mobile
Medics cannot heal while grounded

Im focusing on the defensive aspect of Heavy, rather than just throwing out stats. Yeah, pretty much a sentient sentry

Sentient sentry wants your sandvich!

pros:
+40% accuracy when standing still
silent spin up
cons:
-10% ammo

I like these stats. I actually think they're perfect.
