Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2

Heavy Artillery
My stat idea, no flaming.
How about this. This weapon seems less bulky that the other miniguns, maybe because it is a LMG? With that in mind, I propose the following.

Pros:
a movement speed increase of 15 to 20% because you know lighter gun.
Single barrel means less bullet spread. in game mechanics that would be something like 15% more accurate. Singe barrel also beans the silent rev up like the Tomislav.
You have total 400 ammo reserves, but . .
Cons:
Magazine has a capacity of a 200 bullets. And because it is a LMG (which means smaller caliber bullets), it deals less damage of 15 to 25% or some such.
You need to reload. Let me emphasize that, you need to reload a Heavy PRIMARY, and you think that overheating is a good mechanic for this as well, Because it is a freaking bad idea.

Good, bad? OP, UP? Tell me.

Edit: increased mag size to 150 from the previus 100. Got rid of the 25 health decrease, because I think I made these stats balanced enough, even without that. And now changed the ammo size to 200. And added a damage decrease, because smaller caliber.

Nice stats idea, but the 15% more accurate would not be true because of 1 barrel. In real life and other games, LMG's have insane bullet spread. But, this is TF2, so you can keep that stat, If you want.

Another note: How many times will you be able to reload? Once? Twice?

About the accuracy stat, you forget that the Heavy is the one weilding this weapon. You know the "bear of a man"? Instead of accuracy what do you suggest then?

Previusly 3 times, after a tweak 2 times.

I adore everything but the Health
I'll take some other suggestions and replace that with Overheating
Each 30s after deployed weapon will cease fire and harm you, the player must wait 10s to continue

By that logic ALL of the Heavy's weapons should have overheat mechanic. And TF2 is not that kind of game. By which I mean TF2 is not realistic.

After some time thinking about it, the health decrease is not needed. I mean, sure you get speed and accuracy, but it is offset by the need to reload and the magazine size. So that is going and gone.
It's not realistic, but overheat can be used to balance that gun.

Overheat is a FRICKING BAD IDEA, do you understand.
Why not?

Your probably only saying that because it'd be hard to use in gameplay without a shotgun secondary. If not, tell me why it is a bad idea.

TF2 is a game that is not "Supah serius", but a more light hearthed and, dare I say fun. And I posted it before, if overheating is implemented for this weapon, then all the other Primary weapons are also in need of that nerf, and a buff as well then. Speaking of primaries, if you care to look at my concept stats, you will see that for increased base speed, you have to reload your primary. Let me repeat that, YOU HAVE TO RELOAD YOUR PRIMARY!!!! Why do you think that overheating is needed as well then? Go on tell me.

I changed the ammo to 200, does that mean that I should add a damage decrease? Or slower firing?
