Proximity Detection Script Help
This is my first time working with script calls, so please bear with my ignorance. Basically what I'm trying to do is combine the eventing script with the proximity detection script to make my enemy encounters based on stealth: the enemies wander around in set paths, but when they notice the player, they move to chase them down, and a battle starts when they catch the player. I've only been able to figure out how to initiate the battle immediately upon noticing the player but I want to give them a chance to run away, and reset the enemy's behavior when they leave the room so they can try again. I couldn't think of a way to do this with the proximity detection script on its own so I'm trying to make it work with the eventing script but I'm getting error messages with everything I try.
Any help with getting this to work would be greatly appreciated.
