Victories?
Is there any way to change the victories? I'd like to change some of them so nobody just goes to the moon, as that's be very easy.

Apparently the only way is to find it in the files....although the locations is yet to be disclosed.

Is there any way the dev could re-release this with just domination and cultural vics enabled?

If you guys still want to change : "The victory conditions are saved in the map files, so if you absolutely don't want any of the other victories enabled you can open the map files in the world builder and uncheck the victories you don't want. Unfortunately there is no way I know of to enable the user to customize what victories are active on custom scenario maps (it seems to be hardcoded into the map itself) and I don't want to include dozens of copies of the four maps just so people can mix and match what victories they want active." written by Author of mod

I somehow missed this thread, so I'll just add to what Julius wrote in the post above that if anyone doesn't know where to get the map editor, you can find it on Steam under Library > Tools > Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK. Download the SDK and when you run it the map editor (world builder) will be one of the four options on the start menu. When you open one of this mod's maps in the map editor you will be able to toggle on/off any combination of victories you want. Then just save the map and start a new game with it.

If it works. Many people, including me, get lucky if the thing actually loads.

Unfortunately the map editor is the only way to change the victories, so the world builder doesn't load that is a problem. If I have some extra time this weekend I might make extra copies of the maps with different victories and host them as a separate download, but I have no intention of filling the base mod with lots of duplicate maps just to provide more variety in victory options. As to the specific concern you raised in your opening post, I will point out that the cost of the spaceship parts have been increased tenfold, so Space Victory takes a lot longer in this game than in a regular game that was started in the modern era.

Yeah, I noticed that. I, with some intense production, could militarily take out those going for spaceship parts as they were fairly slow. So thank you for that, and until I can do something about it or until you do, I'll just deal with the victories. Still an amazingly detailed mod! Thank you!
when i try to open the mod in the editor it doesnt appear
