It might be the object does not have facing directions so it cannot "rotate"
Do you mean that it has 4 sets of graphics to choose from, but they're not related to actual directions?
It's a bummer then; I installed Carousel specifically to watch movies from RimFlix even if the TV is not mounted on the northern wall.
If my interpretation is correct, then it's an oversight in the base game (it's a vanilla TV). I wonder if it can be fixed with modding.
If it is a vanilla Item then it might be an issue with Carousel.
