Hello, I have played with your mod and it was great, thank to create such an amazing mod. So I have spotted several bugs ;
1 - Some rulers in the world have the aragonese / aragonés culture which is also the primary culture of the country (for example the Ottomans have araginés as primary culture). For now I have see this only for this culture
2 - Because of the switch of culture between French / Occitane and Iberian / Occitan, non existing countries lose all their core in about 1494 even if their are the primary nation (Gascon losing every core in Guyenne)
3 - I have a graphical bug with the mission tree but it could be because of other mods I am using. So when I reload the game the mission tree work but it is bug, some missions move down the tree
4 - For the "Revive Arpitan" mission, there two possible conditions which are provinces to be arpitan or "no culture". Should arpitan change as for occitan provencal and the other ?
5 - I don't know if this is normal but even as I change my culture to Occitanic it seems that my rulers always are Occitan from the French culture group and I can't change that.

That all for now, thank you again for this great mod, have good Christmas :)

#1 - Did you start your game before or after today's update? I removed a special clause related to Aragonese culture that could have been the original cause of the bug.
#2 - I had a contingency for this sort of thing set up in the province_occitanism events (force tags to switch primary culture if their historical/cultural capital changes culture), as the cultureflip made it impossible to release the nations if the province was of a different culture. There is a special condition as EU4 can't scope directly to VAL (Valencia) which, if I made a mistake, would likely explain the rest of it not working. I will test in my game.
#3 - Slot 5 missions moving downward in saved games is a known bug. I'm not sure what causes it, but I will look into it.
#4 - I removed an oc_arpetan culture. This is something I missed when removing it; I've made a fix and will upload shortly.
#5 - Another something I missed. I know where the problem is and should be able to fix this quickly (pushing w/ the Arpitan fix).

E a vos tanben, En Guilhèm ^^

#3 (Pt. 2) - *Facepalm* It was two mission trees having the same name. It's fixed, at the very least in new saves.

Hello again, thank you for the quick answer.
Yes for #1 I have played on the very first release, as I install my mods manually I wanted to wait a little so a maximum of bugs could have been fixed.
I have spotted an other mission tree problem, with the "Valencian Silk" to valid it is needed either that valencia is a center of trade of level three (with work) or to be at least 230 dev. I'm guessing it should be 23 dev ?

I'm repeating myself but your mod is really cool to play and also pretty challenging ; I have played as Montpellier with is really cool since in the town where I came from. So thank a lot.

Oh, and when I get the event to make my ruler a troubadour it seems that the previous level are always here which is pretty cool, but also unbalance

De segur!

Valencian Silk - WOAH. Was changing it from 20 to 30 to match other BT missions and evidently forgot a backspace.

Mercé! ^^

Trobador levels - Indeed; it's a carryover from Trobador's Revenge that I kept because ruler modifiers can't be removed in history files IIRC (hence the bug where 1444's Foix ruler has the 1291 trobador modifiers if the initial startdate is 1444...Working on it). For the trobador levels, the values should definitely be lowered. It may have been they weren't originally intended to stack and the old values were kept; I can make it so it adds to the currently defined/intended value for each stage. Will look into.

And of course, thank you for the feedback.

When I take a government reform, sometimes (not each time!) it completely removes all my factions. It looks like a bug of the engine, there is probably nothing you can do to solve that except adding it to the list of known bugs.
It's not really a big deal, since I got my factions back a few days later, with the initialisation event triggering again.

@Julien This is a known issue, and the event re-firing is the fix. Not much more I can do at the moment.

Hi I have been trying to play the mod but it keeps crashing.

I first tried playing with most of the mods in the recommended section of the description, it crashed. I then tried many different combinations of the mods to see if one of the other mods was causing the crash until I was just down to trying to load the game with the mods that it requires (Beyond Typus and Mesogeios) and the mod itself, it still crashed. I then tried loading the game without the mod itself only BT and Mesogeios and it loaded up fine. In all the crashes it seems to crash right after hitting the Initializing Map logic stage of the load screen if that helps.

@makkid What OS are you on? I know there's been at least one Linux issue that I don't get on Windows.
Julien  [developer] 14 Jan, 2021 @ 2:23pm
There are a few error logs that you can check to understand the crash. Go in your ".local" directory. For me it's .local/share/Paradox\ Interactive/Europa\ Universalis\ IV/, on Windows I think it's in AppData/Local or something like that. You should mostly look at the files in the log subdirectory (in particular error.log and exceptions.log), but the crashes subdirectory has interesting information as well (a basic backtrace), and in theory you could use the dumps but that's probably not very useful without the source code.

Found the error.log it was in the paradox section of my computers documents folder not the %appdata% section.
Its fairly long with a lot of:
" Province XXXX has no pixels in provinces.bmp"
The first line on the error.log says:
" [dlc.cpp:215]: Invalid supported_version in file: mod/ugc_1754713140.mod line: 7 ".

The crash this log is from is with only the required mods and the mod itself and is after the new mod updates yesterday and today.

Mod #1754713140 is Mesogeios.

Province XXXX is a bit confusing, but most likely Beyond Typus. Do you have it loaded?
